Serving Elliot Lake, Blind River and the North Shore since 1972
The Counselling Centre of East Algoma (CCEA) has offered various confidential counselling services to individuals, throughout the East Algoma catchment area.
Over the last five decades, The Counselling Centre of East Algoma has grown from providing general counselling services to reflect the very complicated continuum of mental health care.
Within our team we have access to psychotherapy, general counselling, exposure trauma therapy, case management and specialized services such as addictions and family violence.
At the Counselling Centre of East Algoma, we maintain a client-centered approach that recognizes that mental health care falls on a continuum, and continues to progress, and regress depending on their immediate circumstance.
For this reason, we provide Crisis Intervention Workers, both in Elliot Lake and Blind River.
No Discrimination:
CCEA promotes a safe and inclusive environment for all and does not accept any forms of abusive or aggressive behaviour. Any abuse, violence, racism, homophobia or discrimination towards staff, clients, visitors, and community members are not permitted and could result in termination of services.
