CCEA welcomes new Executive Director

Mary Margaret Fuller
Executive Director
Counselling Centre of East Algoma

Dear Elliot Lake Community and Friends of The Counselling Centre of East Algoma,

I am excited to announce that I have joined The CCEA as the new Executive Director. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself a little bit.

My preferred name is Mary Margaret (no hyphen). I grew up in Goderich ON (shores of Lake Huron, about the same size as Elliot Lake). I hold a BSW and MA and bring experience in organizational development, quality assurance, training and managing change within systems with me to my new role with The CCEA. I have been fortunate in my career to work across several Ministry sectors in both private and public agencies serving children, youth, families and adults with the intention of creating safety, well being and maximizing their best outcomes.

These experiences align with the mission of The CCEA by “ …promoting healthy solutions to individual, family problems through professional counselling programs and community education.” I look forward to working with the Board of Directors, our dedicated staff, clients and community to ensure we are meeting the needs of our clients and to grow our services where possible in response to other identified needs.

The CCEA is built on the commitment, skills and knowledge of many who have come before me and I hope to honour their work as we move forward together. I appreciate your continued support of The Counselling Centre of East Algoma and I look forward to getting to know you and other community services in the coming weeks and months and look forward to sharing our stories and news with you!

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to contribute.

Mary Margaret Fuller
